I’m finally getting around to share Sophias toddler bedroom: the most gorgeous ballerina and swan toddler bedroom!
Swan Wallpaper
It all started with this swan wallpaper I found on Instagram via Hibou Home. It’s such a magical and whimsical wallpaper. I wanted her room to be sweet and princess like just like her. If you don’t want to commit to a full wallpaper wall, there are many swan wallpaper decals like this one!
Toddler Bedroom Furniture
The bed I started with was the IKEA bed that I love and still have it, it will eventually go into Olivia’s Nursey when we transition her out of the crib. However, we decided to upgrade Sophias bed to a full bed in an attempt to get her to sleep in her room. The IKea mattress just wasn’t cutting it.
Organic & Chemical Free Mattress
I did a lot of research on a organic, chemical free mattress. I ended up going with the mattress from The Futon Shop. She is loving it so far and so is my husband lol. She often puts him to bed 🤣.
Her new bed was a bit of an investment, but is a classic bed that will grow with her till she is off to collage! I have to say that I was a little hesitant in getting the full bed, but Sophia loves it so much, and she won’t outgrow anytime soon!
I always get questions about the Ballerina picture in Sophias room. I found it on Etsy a while ago and unfortunately the shop closed :(.
Toddler Bedroom Decor
All of her bedding is from Pottery Barn Kids. I chose this ballerina sheet set and a white ruffle duvet cover. The canopy and the swan are from Spinkie Baby. Their crowns are absolutely stunning.
The chandelier its from Home Depot, a super affordable option for a small room like this.
For her dresser I chose the Ikea Hemnes. This is such a great dresser at a great price. All I did was replace the knobs with some new knobs from Hobby Lobby.
The mirror was a Homegoods find. I’m still trying to figure it out her dresser and how to style it lol. I’m looking for maybe a vintage silver tray to add to the dresser. More to come!
Sophia loves playing dress up and having tea parties, so I created a little nook for her tea parties complete with a chalkboard for some learning activities. The chalk board is from Hobby Lobby and table/chairs from Pottery barn kids.
The curtain panels are from Restoration Hardware baby. These are black out curtains in velvet. I love these curtains and have in both of the girl’s bedrooms.
On the other side of her room there is a little kitchen and shelves with books. Play kitchens are great because they can hide a lot of toys!
