New rug, who this??! lol!! Today I wanted to share a look into my new Safavieh rug that I recently got it for my living room! I have been dying to get a new rug for her as the old one was getting holes everywhere. It was time!
The new Safavieh rug is stunning all!! This was huge for me, to go with a shade of blue instead of my typical white/neutral rugs. You know me, I’m a pink girl, so getting a blue rug was most certainly a huge deal for me.
Mostly I just wanted to make this room feel more grown up and chic. I have to say: I love it! My husband also loves it lol. He is really happy with how this room turned out, does that mean he didn’t appreciate the pink pillows here?! We will never know!
Safavieh Rug Quality
The number one reason I wanted a new rug was because my jute rug started falling apart, it had holes in it and it shed. It also wasn’t as soft on the feet, being a natural rug anyways.
I’m loving the Safavieh Evoke rug: it doesn’t shed and it’s so cozy! Definitely more appropriate for our family room. The quality is great, easy to vacuum, and I hope it last quite a while in here.
This is the 9×12 Evoke rug in Ivory/Aqua. It definelty looks more blue in the website. I find the that color is very subtle, with just the right touch of blue.
Blue Accent Pillows
New pillows in a soft shade of blue compliment the new rug and elevate the look of this space. I have to admit, the blue does look great in here. It’s peaceful and easy on the eyes.
