My baby is starting Kindergarten this year!!! How is the even possible? I feel like just yesterday she was a tinny baby. Safe to say, I’m not ok right now lol. They are growing up too fast for sure.

Since she is going to big girl school, Sophia really wanted to have a desk and a pink swivel chair to study. I thought it was pretty funny when she requested that as she doesn’t even know how to read yet.
But, I thought it would be a good idea to have her own little study space. I went to Walmart and found the perfect desk and chair for her big girl room! The best part, they whole thing only cost me around 100 bucks.
Walmart now has a section called Wow & Now that has trendy and fun items, these are also available online. I loved checking out this section to find new and cute items to decorate Sophia’s desk.
This little shell light it’s so cute and perfect for a mermaid loving girl. I also scored this pencil holder for her new desk.
The pink swivel chair is comfortable, soft and easy to clean. I really liked the gold tones that matches the rest of the hardware in Sophia’s room.

The last thing I picked out at Walmart was this basket (only $) and this cute polk dot pillow for $11! Baskets are a must in any kids room to keep toys and messes contained.
Her little study area is complete, super cute and this mama is super happy for keeping it on a budget!
