Slowly but surely, I have been updating the home for spring (mostly just changing things around!). This is probably my favorite thing to do. After all, you don’t spend any money when you shop around your home! Currently, I just swapped the floral pillows from my bedroom to the living room (see my bedroom tour here). I’m still looking for the perfect pillows to replace my leopard and gold ones. I’ve been browsing around and these are my current top picks: this black and white, leopard print and floral. I just have been so undecided on which ones to go with!! What do you guys think? I have also been patiently waiting for the first peonies of the season to arrive… still waiting! However, this weekend on my flower run to Wholefoods, I spotted the most gorgeous garden roses. In my opinion, garden roses are just as pretty as peonies and they smell amazing too! For these beautiful flowers, I brought back my blue ginger jar for the arrangement. I think the blue and white jar looks perfect with pink flowers. For the bar cart, I added these pink lemonade bottles from Trader Joe’s (the lemonade is delicious) and together with the Moët…

Welcome lovely friends coming from Tanya’s A Darling Day Dream blog. Hope you are enjoying the tour so far. Spring is around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited. Living on the east coast, our winter is no joke! I’m so ready to see the trees turn green again and this gloomy weather to go away. This means is also time to refresh your decor and bring those happy bright tones in. As always, I don’t believe you need to spend a lot to update your space. A couple of new pillows, a fluffy throw, some candles and flowers it’s all you need to bring your bedroom back to life. I went with this blush Pom Pom throw and this sheepskin pillow from Anne Selke, and these beautiful floral water color pillows to complete my bedroom update. Only a few touches and my bedroom is ready for spring and it already feels so much brighter in here! Here are some other things that you can do to get your bedroom spring ready: 1. Declutter: this is something I try to do often, cleaning my closet, donating items I no longer use or toys Sophia doesn’t play with anymore. This…

It’s no surprise that I have been obsessed with pineapples for a while and my addiction is not going away anytime soon! I keep adding pineapples to my decor, either in the form of candles, prints or glasses. I just can’t get enough 😂🙈. Today I wanted to share some of my favorites pineapples accessories for the home. If you are obsessed with this fruit like me, you will love it! It’s also the perfect time to add some tropical vibes to your home as spring time is just around the corner. Also, I always get a lot of question on the pineapple lamp that I have. It’s an old one from Zara Home that is discontinued. I found two similar ones and listed below. Hope you enjoy the selection! 1. Pineapple Lamp | 2. Pineapple Shot Glasses | 3. Pineapple Tumbler | 4. Pineapple Mug & Saucer | 5. Pineapple Vases | 6. Pineapple Dish | 7. Pineapple Pillow | 8. Gold Pineapple Dish | 9. Pineapple Jar | 10. Glass Pineapple Lamp Hope you have a great rest of the week. Xoxo, Ceres

Bring on turkey, champagne and the Christmas tree!! Holiday season is here and I have the perfect tablescape for you. This is my favorite time of the year, I love gathering with friends and family whether its friends-giving or Christmas! Now, I don’t usually host big parties because we live in a very small apartment, but I still like to do a glam set up for when I have some of my friends over. Here are some of the things that you can use if you do not have a huge dining room, like to keep things simple but still want to impress your friends! * Add natural elements like flowers, veggies (pumpkins, artichokes) or fruits such as figs and apples are great for fall. Here I used some inexpensive pumpkins from Trader Joe’s that I painted pink and purple to match my decor. * Adding candle holders will give the table some height and for an added spark, add a few tea light candles. Here, I used vintage brass candle holders and pink candles. * Invest in some gorgeous chargers, I recently got these ones and I’m so in love!! They definitely add that extra glam touch to your tablescape. *…

Hi y’all! Hope you had a great weekend! I finally found some time to write a new blog post. Let me tell you, it has not been easy finding time to update the blog with work and the baby! How do other busy moms do it all?!  Anyways, I wanted to talk a little bit about my new West Elm coffee table. I have had it for a little while now and love it so much! If you remember I used to have the Ikea Vitro Table that I spray painted gold. Though I really like that coffee table, I experienced some issues with it.I had to constantly retouch the paint because the gold kept coming off, it was quite wobbly and I wasn’t a fan of the dark bottom shelf (I did keep the small table as my side table, since we don’t use it as much!). It was definitely time to invest in a decent coffee table, and after tons of research I decided to go with the West Elm Coffee Terrace table. What I love about this coffee table: The size! So much bigger than my ikea one. It’s super sturdy (you get what you pay for).…
